AICTE: The B. Pharm and M. Pharm courses are approved by All India Council for Technical Education. (F.No. Northern/1-2454736124/2015/EOA Date: 07-Apr-2015 (for session 2015-16)
PCI: The department is approved by PCI U/S- 12 for conducting B. Pharm course up to session 2013-14 (Letter no. 32-328/2010-PCI/31262-63 Dated 18-Oct-2011) 17-137/2011/16550-55 dated 16/07/2015. (till 2016-17)
CPCSEA: Approval from CPCSEA has been granted which is required for experiments on animals vide F. No. 25/233/2009 – AWD dated 29/5/2015.

Department has its own training and placement cell to guide the students with career related queries and provide a platform for the companies to tap the well groomed intellect of the department.
Eminent personalities in the field of pharmacy associated with academic institutions across the country visit the department consistently to enlighten the students with their views sharing their experiences.
The department is also visited by people from the industry to give an insight into the intricacies of the drug business world.
The department also boasts of a strong alumni network named KUDOPSAA working in tandem for the upliftment of the people associated with the alma mater.
Personality development activites have been conducted with experts from Hero Mind Mine, Master Talent Eduservices, Genesis Biotech, Anucasna etc have interacted with the students.
Industry Student interface is encouraged with regular talks of people from the industry including SUN Pharma, Ranbaxy, Venus Remedies, Glenmark, IDPL etc.

The first education institute in the entire state to start Post Graduate teaching in Pharmacy in four Disciplines (Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharm. Chemistry, Pharmacognosy)
The First education institute in the entire state to start Ph. D. Program in Pharmacy to open avenues for research activities
The Department has been declared Centre for Continuing Education Program by State Pharmacy Council, Govt. of Uttarakhand, Dehradun
